bloom is a chorale-like piece for Low Brass Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, or Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble. The piece features lush melodies in the low voices, Bruckner-esque harmonic movement, and dynamic swells that aim to depict the blooming of flowers that takes place after a long winter.
